Police say the man walked into the Comerica Bank at I-45 and Almeda Genoa and showed a note demanding money. He then fled the scene.
They have been using a police dog to search a neighborhood near the bank.
Houston police say the suspect is a thin black male about 30 years old, wearing dark sunglasses, a burgundy polo shirt and jeans.
