It's jail time for a man accused in a scheme to transport more than a ton of pot hidden in pallets of watermelons.

The shipment came from McAllen to a warehouse in Houston. Federal agents began watching the warehouse in July of last year.

Roel Reyna was arrested after leaving that warehouse with a load of 84 bales of marijuana. A search of the warehouse turned up another 53 bales, totaling more than 3,000 pounds.

Reyna was sentenced to just over five and a half years in federal prison.
