Last month, former pastor Tracy Burleson was convicted of hiring his son, William Fuller, to shoot his wife. Both father and son were romantically involved with Palmer who is now on trial accused of planning the murder and cleaning up afterwards.
Fuller took the stand Wednesday talking about the abuse he says he endured by his father and stepmother. At one point, Fuller verbally attacked Palmer's husband in court and had to be dragged from court in a chokehold.
The defense asked for, then withdrew a request for mistrial.
Palmer's trial is expected to last about a week.
