Man accused of kidnapping, assaulting woman

HOUSTON According to court documents, the victim told authorities she met Mashood Uddin at a downtown club and exchanged personal information and she became offended after he touched her inappropriately. The victim left the club looking for her friend and realized the same man was following her, court documents say. That is when she alleges she was forced into the back seat of a vehicle that pulled up next to her.

The driver of the vehicle apparently got into the back seat and assaulted her, court documents state. Uddin also allegedly attempted to assault her. A couple of hours later, the men dropped the woman off near the point of abduction.

The victim claims that Uddin called her and asked to meet with up with her. She notified authorities and she was able to identify him as the man she met at the club and the second male who tried to sexually assault her, according to court documents.

Court documents state Uddin was taken into custody and denied knowing the victim. Investigators say Uddin told them that when he was leaving the club he saw two men in a black car abduct the complainant, but apparently did nothing about it.

No bond has been set in this case.
