FBISD recommends no school closings next year
HOUSTON
During a zoning workshop from FBISD on Monday, one of the administrative recommendations was not closing any buildings during the 2011-2012 school year.
Other recommendations included the continued study of 'repurposing' Marshall High School, studying use of capacity at Willowridge High School and turning Colony Bend Elementary into a charter school for 2012-2013.
The FBISD board must still vote on the recommendations.
