Local student stranded in Europe due to weather

HOUSTON Lauren Frank spent the semester studying abroad in London. She and nearly two dozen other students were supposed to fly home on Sunday, but their flights were cancelled because of all the snow.

Frank keeps in touch with her family via Skype and says she's really looking forward to one thing in particular.

"I would say my grandmother's food; everyone is looking forward to food and being with family," Frank said.

Baylor is working to get the students home. Weather permitting, they are scheduled to fly through Scotland into Newark, New Jersey and then Houston by Christmas Eve.
