HISD to consider district's first all-girls school

HOUSTON The Foundation for the Education of Young Women wants to open its sixth all-female school in Houston next year. They currently operate five others across Texas. Tonight, HISD will discuss the possibility with the public.

District officials are having an open meeting tonight from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the Hattie Mae White Educational Center on West 18th street in northwest Houston.
