Parents confront CCISD about increased speed limit

HOUSTON The speed limit on West League City Parkway was recently increased from 35 to 45 miles per hour. Some children have to cross it, or walk along the parkway to get to school. There is a petition to get a crosswalk.

It was earlier this year that Clear Creek ISD cut bus service for students living within a two mile radius of the school. A lot of those youngsters now walk or ride their bikes to school.

Parents are fighting to get bus service reinstated, especially now with the increased speed limit. They were at Wednesday's school board meeting.
