Suspect sketch released in woman's death
HOUSTON
The victim, Alejandra Perez-Pyle, 51, was found dead inside an apartment on Redwood, in southeast Houston on August 29.
On Thursday, police released a sketch of the man who they think murdered Perez-Pyle. Investigators say she suffered sharp force injuries, but they aren't saying why she may have been killed.
Further investigation and witness statements developed information that led to a suspect description. Evidence at the scene also suggested the suspect may have been injured during this incident.
The suspect is described only as a Hispanic male in his 20s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with an average build.
If you recognize the suspect in the sketch, you are asked to to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
