Man accused of shooting friend several times

HOUSTON According to officers, one man was shot several times by his next door neighbor at a home off Fall Creek near East Lake Houston Parkway. Investigators say the two men had been eating and drinking together before the shooting. The victim was taken to Ben Taub Hospital, where he's listed as stable.

The shooter is facing a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
