Patsy Moon claims she was seated in the Rice Village location of La Madeleine in June of 2009 when a restaurant employee spilled hot coffee and soup on her. Moon alleges she was instantly burned and had to seek emergency attention.
The lawsuit goes on to claim Moon was scarred and disfigured by the burns and that she was unable to complete normal day-to-day tasks due to the intense pain. It also says she was unable to attend an event at the NFL Hall of Fame with her brother due to her injuries.
