Hwy 288 shut down due to car fire

HOUSTON All lanes of Highway 288 northbound are closed just south of the Southwest Freeway. All traffic is being detoured to the Elgin/Tuam exit.

At least three vehicles were involved in a wreck that resulted in one car catching on fire. No injuries have been reported.
