LaQuanda Griffin left with her two children, Javante, 5, and one-year-old Israel Griffin, 1, during a supervised visit Friday. The visit was at the children's paternal grandfather's house who retains custody of the kids.

Missouri City police say Williams fled to Victoria where her mother lives. A deal had been worked out with detectives to return the children Monday by 7pm, without being arrested. However, the deadline came and went and the kids never surfaced.

Williams now faces a charge of interfering with child custody and faces being arrested. Missouri police says an Amber Alert was never issued because they feel the children are safe.
