Friday night, an officer spotted a man apparently trying to rob another man at an apartment complext on Leawood at Evesborough in southwest Houston. The officer ordered the suspect to drop his gun, but police say he instead turned it toward the officer.
The officer then fired hitting the suspect in the leg.
The man ran away, but was caught. Police say he punched another officer as he was being arrested.
