Teacher assaulted at high school in Pasadena

PASADENA, TX It happened this morning around 9:30am at Pasadena Memorial High School. At this point, it's unclear what led up to or happened during the altercation between a male student and the teacher. The school was put on lockdown for around 20 minutes while Pasadena ISD police secured the area and loaded the teacher into an ambulance.

The teacher is now at Memorial Hermann Hospital. We don't know his condition. The student was taken into custody by Pasadena ISD police. Classes at the school have since resumed.
