Thousands take part in 'Race for the Cure'

HOUSTON The annual race raises money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The funds are used in research to find a cure for breast cancer as well as public campaigns to raise awareness about breast cancer survivors.

More than 28,000 people from around the country are expected to be at the race. The event will began at 7:45am on Bagby and Clay in downtown Houston.
