Car ignites garage in mysterious blaze

HOUSTON Fire officials say a man parked his car in the garage on N. Sam Houston Pkwy at Vickery Friday evening and somehow it started to burn. Firefighters arrived just in time to tap the blaze out before it could spread and damage any apartment units.

The family got outside safely but the car is a total loss. Some of the garage will also have to be rebuilt.
