The stabbing happened about three miles from the location of a sexual assault that took place in the city of South Houston on Monday. Detectives are investigating, but at this time they do not have any evidence that the two cases are linked.
Girl, 11, stabbed while walking her dog
HOUSTON The attack happened near Berry Creek Drive and Sleepy Creek on Friday afternoon. The girl was walking her dog at 3:30pm when a man came up behind her and stabbed her in the ankle. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, with a medium build, mustache and wavy hair.
