Amber Alert discontinued for missing teen out of Laredo

LAREDO, Texas (KTRK) -- An Amber Alert has been discontinued for the missing 16-year-old girl out of Laredo.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Ashley Fernandez was found safe Saturday afternoon.

Fernandez was reported missing Friday afternoon. She was believed to be with 19-year-old Arturo Medrano-Limas.

Laredo police say Medrano-Limas has been arrested.
