HPD: Woman dead after running stop sign in northwest Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A woman is dead after police say she ran her Honda Civic through a stop sign and was hit by a tow truck in northwest Houston.

Yale was shut down in both directions after the accident at 15th Street.

Police say the woman died at the scene. She has not been identified by authorities.

Houston police say there are no charges expected in this case, but the investigation is ongoing.
