Taco truck customer robbed and shot, police say

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man was shot while waiting in line for tacos in southeast Houston.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. Saturday at a taco truck on Telephone near Winkler.

Police say as the victim was waiting to order, someone walked up to him, robbed him of his phone and shot him in the leg.

The shooter ran off and hasn't been caught.

The victim is expected to survive.
