Sheriff deputies busted the man for putting together the thionyl chloride lab. That kind of meth lab is considered more high-end.
Neighbors say all of this was happening across the street from where a police officer lives.
"I'm not surprised. Meth labs prop up everywhere and this would probably be a pretty good place to pull it off," neighbor Gary Youngs said.
Deputies say in addition to the meth lab, they also found more than a dozen guns inside the home, and they say one of them was loaded.
