Lucia Lozada says they were on their way to church and she only ran in the house for a second. When she came out, the thief was driving away with her twin seven-year-old boys and one-year-old baby. She couldn't do anything, but her twins did.
"We shouted that we wanted our mommy and daddy," said 7-year-old Luis.
"I was hitting him with a snake," said his brother Lucius.
"They got a snake yesterday from the store. I didn't want to buy it for them, but i guess God knew that he was going to use it," said the boy's mother Lucia.
The thief dropped the children off about 10 miles from their home. Lozada says she recognized the thief, who often walks around the neighborhood, but he has not been caught.
