Reward offered for vehicle belonging to one of two murdered Houston women

HOUSTON

Britney Cosby and Crystal Jackson were found murdered on March 7. Their bodies were found behind a grocery store near a dumpster. Investigators say it appeared Cosby was beaten to death, and Jackson, her girlfriend, was shot.

The Living Faith Covenant Church and Lesbian Activist C.D. Kirven of Dallas collected more than $800 during one of the statewide vigils held by the Get Equal organization.

That donation will placed in a special fund to be used for anyone providing information to The Galveston County Crime Stoppers or the Galveston County Sheriff's Office that leads to the recovery of Britney's 2006 silver and dark grey Kia Sorento SUV . Investigators consider it a key piece of evidence in the ongoing investigation into the murders of the two women.

The Galveston County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to call the Galveston County Crime Stoppers at 409-763-8477 or the Sheriff's Office TIP line at 866-248-8477.
