The motorcycle rider was reportedly traveling east on Little York while a pickup truck was turning left onto O'Donnell.
According to the Houston Police Department, the motorcyclist tried to stop, but he was going too fast and the brakes locked up.
He died on impact.
"We estimate he was in his early 30s," HPD Sgt. C.B Nickerson said. "He was wearing a helmet, but he was injured fatally."
The driver and a passenger in the pickup truck were not hurt.
