Jennifer Poole was arrested Thursday morning when she arrived at the Chambers County jail to visit her husband, 23-year-old Kristopher Redd. He was behind bars, already charged in the little girl's death.
Poole is now charged with injury to a child by omission. Another child in her home was taken into protective custody.
