Reality TV star's ex-boyfriend charged with assault

HOUSTON

Dimitri Charalambopolous, 36, is accused of violently attacking Camille Grammer during an argument the two had while she was recovering from surgery at a Houston hotel back in October. Grammer was granted a three year restraining order against her now ex-boyfriend last month.

The former star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" claims Charalambopolous pulled her hair and slammed her head repeatedly against her headboard during the argument.

Charalambopoulos' court hearing Thursday was rescheduled for a later date.

Attorney Kirk Lechtenberger wouldn't say anything directly on his client's behalf at this time, except to say, "We're looking forward to our day in court. Can't wait, quite frankly."

Charalambopolous is charged with assault of a family member. He is due back in court in Houston on March 6th.
