The first happened around 9pm at the La Quinta Inn at 28673 I-45 North in Shenandoah. Around an hour later, the Comfort Inn at 1115 League Line Road in Conroe was hit.
Video from both locations appears to show one suspect committing both robberies. The suspect is described as a black male in his mid 20s who stands around 5 feet 7 inches tall, has a medium build and moustache and was wearing a white jacket with a Fila logo on the front and back.
Police say he walked into both locations, displayed a handgun and demanded cash from the front desk clerk. After receiving the cash, he fled the scenes.
