'Sniper' author's widow files suit against slain husband's business partners

DALLAS, TX

The Dallas Morning News reports that in a lawsuit filed Monday in Dallas, Taya Kyle is accusing Steven Young and Bo French of conspiring to "steal" Craft International, the tactical-training company co-founded in 2009 by her husband.

The suit alleges Young, the company's CEO, and French, its chief operating officer, are diverting contracts and assets from Craft International.

French says he and Young are declining to comment on the lawsuit.

Ex-Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura had previously filed a lawsuit against Chris Kyle's estate, claiming the sniper defamed him to gain notoriety for his best-selling book.

Kyle was killed in February along with a friend at a central Texas gun range.
