We have a couple of stranger danger alerts to tell you about, one in Liberty County and the other in the Katy ISD.

In the case in Liberty County, a 14-year-old girl says a man actually tried to grab her. The Liberty County Sheriff's Office says the girl was waiting at her bus stop at Highway 321 and private road 684 just north of Dayton shortly after 6:30am Tuesday.

She usually waits with another student, but that girl's mother picked her up to take her to school. The 14-year-old says as soon as the girl left, a small white car pulled up. The man driving it told her he would take her to school.

She ran and he reportedly tried to run after her, but she says the man had a limp and couldn't catch up to her.

The man's description is vague, but the sheriff's office says he was white and had brown hair and a mustache.

And Katy ISD is warning students and parents of an incident involving a McDonald Junior High student. He says Wednesday morning at Pebble Garden and Meadow Birch, he was approached by a man in a white van who asked the student if he could give him a ride to school. The student got scared and ran to a neighborhood park. The man drove off.
