Kubiak details health of Johnson, Brown and Reed

NASHVILLE, TN

The good news is that it looks like Andre Johnson is a go. Johnson suffered a concussion last week against the Titans when he took a shot from former Texans Bernard Pollard. Johnson was on the turf for several minutes before being taken back to the locker room.

Pollard was fined $42,000 for the hit, but wasn't flagged on the play. Johnson, for the record, says he didn't see anything wrong with Pollard's hit on him and had his head not heat the turf, he'd have probably been OK.

As for safety Ed Reed, Kubiak says he'll be a game time decision. Reed, who missed all of the preseason and the first two regular season games, is still recovering from hip surgery. If he's able to go, he'll start against his former teammates.

And OT Duane Brown, who is suffering from turf toe, will also be a game time decision.
