It happened at FM 1960 at Gilder near 249. We don't have a lot of details about the wreck, but FM 1960 is shut down in both directions.
DPS says the trooper was on duty when his cruiser collided with another sedan, but it's not yet known if he was responding to a call.
The trooper was talking, alert, but he may have broken his arm. It wasn't clear whether anyone in the other vehicle was injured, but if someone is, there's no indication that the injury is life threatening.
