Sketch released of Sugar Land Subway robbery suspect

SUGAR LAND, TX

Authorities say the suspect entered the sandwich shop at 3557 State Highway at 10:45pm, approached the counter, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the cash register.

The suspect was given a small amount of cash. Police say two employees were then placed in a freezer and told to remain there for 15 minutes. The employees complied and called police after exiting the freezer. No one was injured.

The suspect was described as black, about 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. He was wearing glasses, a black baseball cap, black pants and was missing one of his front teeth. According to investigators, there is no store video, and no one in the area saw anything.
