Surveillance video from north Harris County cell phone store robbery released

HOUSTON

It happened on May 7 at around 10am. According to investigators, two men entered the store in the 5000 block of West FM 1960 and pointed a gun at employees and customers.

One suspect then approached the register, where he pulled out cash. Meanwhile, the second suspect forced a victim into the back room to unlock the store's safe. Once that was open, investigators say he ordered the employee to put the cash in a large duffel bag.

The second suspect then snatched some cell phones from a shelf. Both suspect took off through the rear door of the business and were seen getting into a white Lincoln.

The first suspect is described as a black male, between 20 to 25 years of age, standing approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build. The suspect was wearing a red shirt, black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and a red bandanna during the time of the offense.

The second suspect is described as a black male, between 20 to 25 years of age, standing approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build. The suspect was wearing a light gray hoodie, dark pants and a red bandanna during the time of the offense.
