Image of suspect in armed robbery in N. Houston released

HOUSTON

It happened on May 21 at around 12:55pm. A man entered the Payday Loan store in the 5500 block of Airline Drive wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and bandana with a 'dollar bills' pattern concealing his face.

According to investigators, the suspect approached the counter, pulled out a pistol and threatened the victim, demanding to be let into the office behind the locked door and glass.

Once inside, the suspect took money out of the register and fled in a dar green four-door vehicle, possible a 2000 Acura sedan.

The suspect is an Africn-American male, standing approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing between 210-220 pounds. He also has two teardrop tattoos under his right eye.
