Houston police have released a pair of sketches in hopes the public can help them identify two suspects in the kidnapping and sexual assault of a woman last month.

It happened on March 29 as the 21-year-old victim was visiting a friend at the Catalina Village Apartments in the 3500 block of Dixie. Police say the two suspects approached her in the parking lot and at gunpoint, forced her back into her vehicle.

She was then reportedly forced to drive to the 3600 block of Old Spanish Trail and withdraw money from two ATMs. After that, police say the suspects forced her to drive to an isolated area near Paris and Cullen, where she was sexually assaulted.

She was later released at the same intersection near where she was reportedly sexually assaulted. She said the suspects fled the scene in the her vehicle, a maroon 2004 Toyota Corolla with Texas license plates BT1D421.

The suspects are described only as two black males in their late teens to early 20s. One is about 5 feet 9 inches tall, about 140 to 180 pounds with an average build. He was wearing a red shirt. The other suspect is about 5 feet 7 inches tall.

Anyone with information in this case or on the identities of the wanted suspects is urged to contact the HPD Special Crimes Division at 713-308-1180 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
