Rodrick Damion Mitchell is charged with capital murder for the death of Hao Huynh. On December 18, 2011, police were called to the Catalina Village Apartments where they found Huynh dead in the courtyard. They say it appeared he was killed during a robbery while returning home from a party.
Huynh was a senior at the University of Houston.
Mitchell, 36, is charged with capital murder and being held without bond.
