Suspect sought in brazen armed robbery of drug store

HOUSTON

At around 6:45am on March 14, an unidentified male suspect entered the drug store located on the 1400 block of West FM 1960 in north Harris County. The female victim told authorities that the suspect approached the register and threatened her with a handgun.

Authorities say the suspect demanded she empty the register of its contents. The victim complied and surrendered the cash contents of the register.

The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of cash. Surveillance cameras from the store's interior captured video of the suspect and the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 30-40 years of age, standing approximately 6 feet tall and weighing between 170-190 pounds. At the time of the offense the suspect wore a blue ball cap, a blue jacket and black jeans.
