DeSoto police on Tuesday night received a 911 call about a break-in at a house and minutes later discovered the bodies.
Capt. Ron Smith, who did not immediately release names of the pair, says officials believe the couple's divorce was finalized Tuesday. Investigators say the man apparently fatally shot the woman before taking his own life at the home of one of her relatives.
Police did not immediately released additional details Wednesday.
