Alief ISD nurse's aide accused of having sex with Taylor High School student

HOUSTON

Maria Calvillo, 38, is charged with two counts of felony improper relationship with a student. According to court documents, she was a nurse's aide at Alief Taylor High School in Alief Independent School District when she had a sexual relationship with a senior.

The affidavit states Calvillo sent sexually explicit text messages and Facebook messages to the 12th grader, which were discovered by the student's mother in October 2012.

In an initial interview in October, Calvillo reportedly told investigators with Alief ISD police that her conversations with the student, which she held under a fake name on Facebook, started as simple conversation and turned into "somewhat sexual kind of discussions," court documents state.

She initially denied having sex with the student, but officials say she later provided additional details about their relationship, including physical contact on two occasions. They reportedly had sex early in the morning at the school, the affidavit states.

The student was interviewed and confirmed the relationship, according to court documents.
