Police find man tied up inside business

HOUSTON

Police are searching for two armed suspects. Lee Washington says he was robbed at gunpoint before being handcuffed and locked inside the business.

Houston police say the incident happened at about 1pm at a business on Main at Wentworth. Washington says he had just walked into the business that he claims is used as a gathering place for senior citizens when two armed men came in.

The victim says the men ordered him not to look at them but to give them his money. Washington says that's when one of the suspects threatened to kill him before taking his money, credit cards and keys to his pickup truck. They handcuffed him and locked him inside.

"They came up to the door and kicked the door in and the people from next door saw that, and I told them what was going on and they called the police," Washington said.

Washington was not hurt, but he says the suspects took off in his green four-door pickup truck. Police are searching for the two suspects and the truck. No description of the suspects is available.
