Man in construction hard hat sought in bank robbery

HOUSTON

At about 1pm, the FBI says the robber entered the J.P. Morgan Chase Bank at 2900 Weslayan and approached a teller. He held a note, but read the threatening demand to the teller. The FBI says the robber threatened that he had a weapon and demanded cash.

After getting some cash, the robber left the bank. No weapon was seen and no one was physically hurt.

The bank robber is described as a black male in his early 30s, about 6 feet tall with a medium build and a dark complexion. He wore a white construction hat with a white bandana underneath, a navy long-sleeved hoodie with a blue shirt underneath, and worker glasses.
