Police are investigating a deadly shooting in north Houston.

Neighbors at an apartment complex in the 100 block of Goodson near Imperial Valley heard gunshots around midnight. They looked outside and saw a man on a driveway. Police say he had been shot multiple times.

He was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police won't say if the victim lived at the apartments.

No one witnessed the actual shooting.

While there is currently no description of the killer or a vehicle available, police say the victim was able to give some information before he died that they hope could lead to an arrest.

The identity of the 34-year-old victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
