Landeros faces two felony charges for allegedly spray painting Picasso's "Woman in a Red Armchair" painting last June at the Menil Collection. The incident was caught on camera and uploaded to YouTube.
Landeros' attorney says he was booked into Harris County jail at 1am Monday.
She says she is planning to ask for a bond but fears it may be rejected because he was a fugitive for several months.
There is no word yet on a court date.
