The Wings Over Houston airshow gets underway today at Ellington Field.

The U.S. Navy's Blue Angels will be the highlight of today's events.

The team is expected to fly within 18 inches of one other during the diamond 360 maneuver.

There will also be a reenactment of the attack on Pearl Harbor and other acrobatic performers, and flight enthusiasts will also get a look at an F-22 Raptor, F-4 Phantom II and a MV-22 Osprey.

Gates at Ellington Field opened at 8am and will open the same time tomorrow. Tickets are $23 online and $4.50 for children.
