It happened at a home on Laurel Rustic Oaks near TC Jester. That's where they found a man in his 40s with a gunshot wound. Authorities say he is expected to be OK.
Relatives say there were children in the house at the time of the shooting. None of them were hurt.
At this point, we don't have any word of arrests. An investigation is underway.
