A Houston man is facing charges after a deputy found more than 5 pounds of crystal methamphetamine in his vehicle last week, say investigators.

Marcelo G. Lucio, 37, is charged with Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance. According to authorities, last Thursday, Luicio was stopped by a deputy, who noticed him traveling suspiciously near the intersection of Highway 59 and Cottonwood Church Road in Rosenberg.

When Lucio was pulled over, deputies say a search of the vehicle he was driving uncovered 5.4 pounds of the crystal methamphetamines, which has a street value of $200,000.

Lucio remains in the Fort Bend County Jail under a $50,000 bond. The charge is a first-degree felony with a punishment range of 5 to 99 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
