A man accused of shooting and killing another man at a southwest Houston taqueria restaurant is set to be in court Thursday.

According to court documents, Wilberto Arrellano shot and killed 20-year-old Roy Valdez at the Taqueria Cancun restaurant on South Gessner on May 13. Valdez was hit in the head and later died at the hospital.

Police say further investigation led to the identification of Arrellano as a suspect in this case and he was arrested without incident on July 3.

Arrellano, 27, is charged with murder. His bond has been set at $500,000.

Court documents show Arrellano is also charged with murder for a separate shooting back on February 17. Bond is also $500,000 in that case.
