It happened around 4pm in the 12400 block of Cullen Blvd. at Orem Dr.
Cullen was shut down in both directions while police investigated.
Officials said the man was sitting inside his 80s-model Cadillac coupe, waiting for the traffic light to change when another vehicle pulled beside him and at least one shot was fired. The 29-year-old victim died at the scene.
The suspects are described only as two armed black malesin their 20's in a gold or tan Pontiac Grand Am or Grand Prix.
The motive for the shooting is unclear. This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
