Police looking for men who carjacked, kidnapped woman

KEMAH, TX

According to Kemah police, the woman was sitting in traffic in the 800 block of Texas 146 around 8:30pm Thursday when someone jumped out of the car behind her and into her vehicle.

As he sat in the woman's passenger seat, the man pointed a gun at her and forced her to drive to a house near Highway 3 in Dickinson, officials said.

The victim was tied to a bed and left alone with one man in the house. She told investigators she untied herself while he was asleep and snuck away. That's when she went to a nearby restaurant and called 911.

The woman told police her abductors did not harm her while she was tied up.

Investigators are trying to identify and track down the kidnappers. Both are described as black men about 6 feet tall, and both are heavily tattooed, officials said.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Kemah Police Department at 281-334-5414 or Dickinson Police Department at 281-337-2489.
